About LipstickandPen

“If we have to say what writing is, we would define it essentially as an act of courage.” Cynthia Ozick

I have always loved writing, but i have always been unsure of whether I could actually write.

I would spend alot of time reading blogs on peoples personal experiences and/or theoriess and always promised myslef that one day I will join this beautiful writing community.

You can never miss something to write about. Never.  Everyday the world raises its curtains to treat us to a beautiful show; we see, read or hear something that goes to impact our lives in a huge way. Could be in an interesting way or an incredulously bizarre way!

Whatever the case I feel like I should be able to have the memory somewhere forever.

Everyone has kept asking me why lipstickandpen? Well its rather complicated in a very simple way.  That the feminity and the proffesionalism coexist happily within one person. The times i have expressed myself in the best way possible was through a written article, the times i have been most entertained was also through a written article.

I like the idea of writing and  having a wide audience. People who are like minded brought together by a single post, comment, argument and/or shared fact. Constructive criticism as well as shared laughter…

I may yet fail in living up to expectations but there is no harm in trying , right?

“Never be afraid to try something new. Remember that a lone amateur built the Ark. A large group of professionals built the Titanic. – Dave Bary”

I invite you to come journey with me!
